Unreal Engine & Blender

Feedback That Lands Inside Unreal Engine

Stakeholders comment in the browser. Artists see the note in their viewport, on the exact object it's about.

Artists should stay in their tool, and stakeholders should never need to know what that tool is. With the Shale plugin, an artist picks the region of their Unreal Engine scene to capture and sends it for review without leaving the editor. When a reviewer leaves a note in the browser — "this blue light should be red" — it appears back in Unreal in 3D space, on that light, ready to reply to and resolve.

🎯

From Browser Note to Viewport

A reviewer leaves a note in the web app, even on the go. The artist refreshes the Shale panel in Unreal and the note appears on the object in 3D space, with the whole conversation alongside it.

Notes Alongside Sequencer

Walk through review notes, approvals and version history right alongside your Sequencer timeline, keeping the whole team working in Unreal without exporting anything.

🧩

Blender Too

The same workflow runs in Blender, with feedback and approvals kept in sync with your scene. Rhino and Houdini are supported, with more tools on the way.
